Do you feel disconnected? Do you struggle with doing to much yet feeling like it is not enough? Are you living a facade where your life seems ideal to everyone else but they do not know the internal turmoil that you struggle with? Life is not always what we expect it to be but together we can work collaboratively to make it the best that it can be.

My mission is to bridge the gaps in connection and communication to assist individuals in navigating life’s transitions.
ABOUT ME
My journey to becoming a therapist has shown me how the diversity of experiences shape people's lives. I have worked with women who were leaving abusive relationships for the safety of a domestic violence shelter, to addicts and alcoholics looking toward the path of recovery, to individuals with mental illness trying to navigate how to live a normal life. I work with women, men, children, couples, and families. I have worked with clients on issues of addiction, abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, mental illness. I help clients see the potential in themselves to make the decisions necessary so that they can take the step that will help rebuild, repair, restore and revive their lives.

I have been registered and licensed with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) since 2009. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage Family Therapists (CAMFT). I attended the University of California Irvine and graduated with a BS Biology, BS Psychology and a BA Asian American Studies in 1998. I obtained my Masters in Counseling from California State University Fullerton in 2002.
SERVICES
Family Therapy
Does your family seem out of balance? The goal of family therapy is to create bridges of understanding to improve communication, solve family problems, process family situations, and improve the functioning of family members within the family unit. In family therapy we will bridge past family patterns to current family interactions in order to create a healthier balance.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy helps to bridge past events to present patterns of behavior in order to move forward into a healthier future. Through a safe, caring, confidential and collaborative relationship we explore, challenge and process beliefs, behaviors and experiences that have caused you to become stuck and unable to move forward in your life. The goal is to create understanding, shifts in perspective and changes in behavior to create a life with purpose.
Children and Teens
Children have different needs at different developmental stages. The goals of therapy with children and teens are based on their current developmental stage and current stressors. Therapy is used as a modality to assess and process the child/ teen's current functioning in order to develop understanding and teach coping skills so that the child/ teen can work towards becoming a healthy, happy, well adjusted and productive individual.
Couples Therapy
Do you and your significant other seem at odds with one another? The goal of couples therapy is to bridge your individual differences to increase communication, identify your common goals, identify detrimental patterns of interaction in the relationship, and increase your understanding of each other as individuals within your partnership.
Addiction Therapy
Wanting to be clean and sober is not enough. Working a recovery program in combination with psychotherapy grants a greater likelihood of success in maintaining sobriety. Addiction is sustained both by the addiction to drugs and/or alcohol as well as feelings and issues that the individual is unable to or unwilling to face. I work to assist you in identifying core issues that are at the heart of what sustains the addiction. I work at helping you and your family create an understanding of addiction to improve your relationships.
